The Five Temptations of a CEO,ranks as one of the best short stories I have ever read, fun, quick, very engaging, and full of allegory. No amount of management theory books can be as powerful as a simple fable that you can read in an hour or two.

At the same time there’s very familiar stories of tempting behaviors, both often witnessed and often tempted, which lead to inevitable failure. The remaining image is of some real tough values to practice, but which become the only obvious way to consistently succeed in the world of producing stuff with people, for all participants, as well as CEO’s.

It has a very powerful and clear message…and really hits home…and makes you do a lot of soul searching…

Hopefully those employees got the main ideas, as this book is very much in line with my preferred management style and makes excellent points throughout the book.
